Fires Collective Trainer for the Mission Training Complex.
Coach and mentor Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS).
Fully versed in all aspects of Army Battalion, Brigade and Division Operational functions and warfighting function products.
Provide training and mentoring in the Tactical Employment and use of AFATDS.
Provide expertise in the development of training scenarios, decision support products and operations orders.
Must possess a working knowledge of MCIS systems and making recommendations on staff procedures and processes.
Other duties as assigned.
Possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
Must have attained the rank of Sergeant First Class or higher as a 13F, 131A or 13A.
Must have the ability to coach, teach and mentor battalion and brigade Fire Support Officers and NCOs on the proper execution of fires in support of maneuver.
Must have the ability to train individuals on the Military Decision Making Process. (MDMP) and command post operations.
Must have a working knowledge of the Army targeting process; Decide, Detect, Deliver and Assess (D3A) methodology.
Be able to write Battalion and Brigade level Fire Support products. This includes annex D and associated appendixes and targeting products (HPTL, TSS, AGM and TSM).
Served as a Fire Support NCO at a Battalion or Brigade level. Preferred experience with planning/conducting the targeting process at Division level.
Have four years of experience as a mission command trainer.
Must be willing to travel outside the Ft. Riley area 2-4 times/year for up to 2 weeks/trip.
