U.S. Army Medical Command Dental Purchased Care Coordinator in Fort Riley, Kansas

Summary About the Position: This position is location with the Dental Health Activity, US Army DENTAC, Fort Riley, Kansas 66442. Responsibilities Serves as a Dental Purchased Care Coordinator supporting the Active Duty Dental Plan (ADDP). Accurately completes ADDP referral documents, maintains program metrics and verifies completion of dental care. Coordinates care for eligible beneficiaries at civilian dental facilities. Serves as a liaison with local civilian dental community promoting and responding to questions on the ADDP program. Monitors voucher status and updates records. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes using word processing software to create various documents; utilizing software systems to perform dental treatment needs and plans; maintaining files and data electronically; and providing customer service using oral and written communication. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Computer SkillsCustomer ServiceManages and Organizes Information Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-04). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. Two year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
