Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Principal Military Trainer – Sustainment Analyst for the U.S. Army's Mission Command Training Program (MCTP), Operations Group Juliet (OPSGRP-J), as we support collective training requirements of Army Special Operations units. The selected candidate will join our growing team of diverse professionals at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas .
Provides direct support to the OPSGRP-J Sustainment Warfighting Function Chief
Develops and produces graphic products for After Action Reviews, Mission Command Training (MCT) Workshops, In-Progress Reviews (IPRs), and briefings
Analyzes exercise observations as they apply to the tactical and operational level of war
Researches and analyzes operations during exercises to ensure conformity with U.S. Joint and Army doctrine, policies, and procedures
Maintains proficiency in Special Operations Force - Conventional Force Interdependence, Integration and Interoperability (SOF-CFI3). Support the MCTP After Action Review (AAR) analysis and production
Serves as a Planning Team Lead responsible for planning, preparation, documentation, and execution of contractor supported MCTP exercises and OPSGRP-J activities
Assists Senior Analyst in completing associated deliverable documents
One of the following:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
Familiarity with Sustainment and Army/Joint Special Operations Forces doctrine
Experience in simulation training and simulation programs used for Army training, and scenario development experience
Proficient with MS Office Suite or software
Hands on experience in the assembly and presentation of Army AARs
The ability to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time)
Must be able to work on-site at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas
Experience at Battalion or Brigade S-3
U.S. Military SOF background
Brigade or higher staff officer experience
Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
