Full-Time Advertising Consultant- Emporia KS

Ideal Skills & Experience: An interest in broadcast and/or digital media; Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (required); Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability; Resourcefulness and a solution-based mindset; A team player with great communication skills; Must possess a cell phone and valid drivers license; Must be willing to travel to Burlington, KS; Proficient in English and Spanish (preferred); Some sales experience (required)
Job Responsibilities:
Prospecting and lead generation: Discover new clients by calling and contacting local businesses daily, stay on top of any leads for potential clients.
Client relationship management: Build relationships with community members and business owners, keep track of current clients and handle their accounts, guide advertisers through the process of a radio campaign.
Creative campaign development: Design customized advertising campaigns, including on-air spots, social media promotions, and remotes to maximize client impact; create new and exciting ways for clients to advertise with our team.
Be a team player: Support your coworkers and clients at Murfin Media events, join in community activities while representing the company, collaborate with the team to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
About the Position: An account executive is responsible for generating advertising revenue for radio stations by identifying potential clients and building relationships with them. The account executive must be able to understand their marketing needs and sell advertising packages that align with the stations programming and target audiences. These include on-air spots, social media promotions, event sponsorships and more! This is essential to meeting and exceeding sales goals.

Compensation: \$30,000-\$38,000
Supplemental Pay Types: Bonus pay \| Commission pay
Schedule: 8 hour shift \| Monday-Friday \| Weekend availability
