Lyon County, Kansas is seeking a Community Corrections Transport Driver. This is a part-time, on call, non-exempt position with no benefits. This position is responsible for transporting youth both in secure and non-secure custody to designated placements. A Transport Driver will be required to operate county vehicles as directed by the court or a community corrections officer, maintain these vehicles properly, and maintain records of transports as requested. This employee will also be required to perform pat down searches, shackle and handcuff juvenile offenders in preparation for transport.
