The Attendant Care Worker position provides quality direct support and supervision to agency clients, with the intent to assist individuals in accomplishing daily living activities, teaching individuals to live independently in community settings, and preventing or reducing hospitalizations.

+ Assists agency clients in achieving individualized treatment, recovery, and personal growth goals through delivery of quality attendant care services.
+ Monitors clients’ medication compliance as prescribed by written instructions. Reports medication concerns and questions to immediate supervisor.
+ Observes significant behavioral changes in clients and reports changes and concerns to immediate supervisor and the Residential Services Coordinator.
+ May transport individuals to and/or from various locations as required by specific work assignment.
+ Maintains accurate and complete records of all client services, as defined by state licensing agencies, funding agencies, and CrossWinds standards and requirements. Submits attendant care documentation notes, timesheets, and all work-related paperwork in a timely manner and in acceptable format as determined by agency requirements.
+ Attends and participates in monthly and as-needed supervision and training meetings.
+ Assists in maintaining the successful operation of the crisis and residential living facilities, to include meal preparation, laundry, basic housekeeping, and assisting clients with personal hygiene skills, as required by the work assignment.

This job operates in a community setting, as well as in a professional office setting. This position primarily works with clients out in the community and within the agency’s residential facilities. This role occasionally uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
