Job Description Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor provides case supervision and clinical oversight to Kansas Parent Management Training Oregon model clinicians and Substance Abuse Counselors and ensures the successful implementation and evaluation of clinical services.

In This Opportunity You Will Get To:

+ Responsible for recruitment and retention of K-PMTO participants.

+ First contact for families inviting them to participate in K-PMTO.

+ Provides case oversight and clinical supervision for K-PMTO practitioners and Substance Abuse Counselors.

+ Supervises staff, creates individual work plans, and evaluates job performance.

+ Participates actively in PMTO training to achieve and sustain certification.

+ Maintains small case load (5 families during training/certification, min. 1 family post certification).

+ Attends PMTO supervisory seminars in order to promote agency support/assistance for K-PMTO practitioners to reach certification.

+ Monitors and ensures trainees are compliant with training procedures.

+ Provides oversight needed to ensure successful implementation of K-PMTO.

+ Monitors assessment procedures and ensures completion in a timely and reliable manner.

+ Ensures the data is being collected, tracked and reported monthly and accurately.

+ Ensures success and training in PMTO as well as fidelity to the model through effective clinical supervision.

+ Identifies potential barriers to effective service delivery and works to remove these barriers.

+ Participates actively in training, meetings, and consultations.

+ Monitors timelines and quality of reports and documentation weekly.

+ Serves as liaison across multiple levels (Agency leadership, K-PMTO clinicians, and community partners).

+ Maintains and monitors lines of communication among all relevant parties.

+ Maintains quality relationships with DCF, courts, PMTO staff and other community partners.

+ The employee is required to be able to safely operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid license therefore. If using an agency vehicle and/or transporting clients, the employee must meet agency insurance underwriting standards.

+ Will be required to drive personal or agency vehicle while transporting children or conducting agency business. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must meet agency underwriting standards while driving agency vehicles and/or transporting clients.

+ Refrains from assuming any duty that is unrelated to and/or interferes with the responsibilities of the position.

+ Advocates, promotes and practices cultural sensitivity and responsiveness in all day-to-day interactions.

+ Develops, promotes and practices teamwork in all activities.

+ Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's polic ies and applicable laws.

+ Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

+ Directly supervises employees as denoted on the Agency Organizational Chart in accordance with federal, state and/or COA requirements.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field required.

BSRB licensure required.

At least three years’ experience in child and family services, preferably with some of this time dedicated to supervising others.
