LifePoint Health Accountant in Dodge City, Kansas

The Accountant keeps the Controller, the CFO, and the Administrator informed of any problems or areas of concern in regards to accounting and accounts payable issues, payroll; maintains statistical reporting; performs account reconciliations; completes accurate data base information as required; assists in the gathering, documenting, and reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements; provides assistance to the Controller as needed; completes all other duties as assigned.

Reports to: Controller and/or Chief Financial Officer

FLSA: Exempt

Minimum Education
Associate's degree in Accounting, Financial, or other related field required.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Financial, or other related field preferred.

Required Skills
Must have a minimum of two years experience in the field within an organization similar in size and scope of services.

Required Skills
Must have strong interpersonal, oral and oral written commutation skill. Effective human relations skill are required for interfacing with team members, all levels of staff, physicians, patients, families and other contact. Must posses the ability to effectively function in a stressful environment. Must posses the ability to use the following equipment; Telephone/Overhead Paging System/Fax Machine/Calculator/Computer.
