The Monarch Cement Company is seeking to fill the position of Safety Supervisor for the Humboldt, Kansas plant. The Monarch plant is regulated under the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). The plant Safety Supervisor position requires applicants to be able to work closely with hourly employees, supervisors and plant management to perform daily administrative tasks and services and to assist with plant management safety policies and programs to effectively support the safe and efficient operations of the plant. Attention to detail and understand MSHA safety regulations is a must. This position requires candidates to have education or experience in industrial safety. Must successfully complete a pre-hire physical, drug screen and background check. Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license. Must be capable of following oral and/or written instructions.
