Orizon Aerostructures Paint Assistant - 3rd Shift in Chanute, Kansas
Description
Shift Differential Available!! Under close supervision from a crew leader, perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled work in maintaining production readiness of plant equipment along with performing various facility maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
Assist maintenance technicians with unscheduled maintenance to minimize machine down time
Perform facility repair, remodeling and maintenance
Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
Safely operate forklift to move equipment and material within the facility
Clean equipment and machines when required
Accurately record maintenance performed
Maintains safe and clean work environment; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications:
Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
Safety conscious and able to make safe decisions
Must have excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
Must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Must have excellent verbal, written and listening skills and have the ability to provide written and verbal instructions and present information clearly
Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
Must have the ability and willingness to work extended hours and overtime, including weekends, as required by the work schedule and production needs
