Duties include, but are not limited to:Essential Functions1. Provide premiere quality service to all constituencies of the College.2. Engage in continuous quality improvement and professional development.Duties and Responsibilities1. Develop and update courses for the programs;2. Work with the dean to establish and maintain IMT and Aerostructures program accreditation;3. Meet all classes as scheduled;4. Utilize the NCCC learning management system;5. Participate actively in student recruitment and advising;6. Participate in all in-service educational programs designed for professional growth;7. Post and hold regular office hours for student consultation;8. Serve as faculty representative on various institutional committees;9. Spend a minimum of 35 hours per week at the designated facility;10. Maintain course grades, attendance, and other required course documentation on myNeosho;11. Complete outcomes assessments;12. Conduct program reviews;13. Articulate high school, community college and university programs into cohesive 2+2+2 opportunitiesfor students;14. Collaborate with industry, serving as the liaison between high school and college personnel;15. Work with the program advisory council; and16. Perform other duties as assigned by the dean of outreach and workforce development with theapproval of the vice president of student learning.Required Knowledge and Abilities1. Experience working with high school and college-age populations preferred;2. Excellent communication and supervision skills required;3. Basic computer literacy required;4. Flexibility required; and5. The ability to implement these vocational programs in partnership with a local school district andcommunity college is a must.Position pending board approvalEducation and ExperienceMaster's degree preferred;Bachelor's degree in industrial technology related field, or specialty certification required;Practical industrial experience required; teaching experience preferredWorking ConditionsThe job includes both classroom and lab environments.
