This position is a member of a Subarea Crew, which normally maintains all KDOT facilities in an approximate one county\ area. Duties include operation of light and medium duty equipment regularly and heavy equipment occasionally as\ necessary. Duties include performing a variety of manual labor type tasks.

Operates miscellaneous maintenance equipment such as chain saws, weedeaters, pumps, compressors, jackhammers,\ generators, power tools, and uses various hand tools.

Operates dump trucks, small and medium sized loaders, mowers, tractors, rollers, power brooms to perform various\ maintenance tasks.
