Job Description Integrated Behavioral Technologies, Inc. (IBT) is a group of caring individuals whose goal is to provide children and their families with the behavioral therapy services they need to succeed. We are a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves children across the state of Kansas with a focus on rural and low-income areas. IBT is hiring several Behavior Technicians (BTs) in the Chanute, KS area. BTs work as part of a treatment team to develop and implement behavioral interventions using an applied behavioral analytic framework. Candidates must be enthusiastic, flexible, and have a strong interest in working with children with special needs, particularly those on the autism spectrum. Individuals who work directly with clients may fill the following provider roles depending on the client/care plan and the applicants qualification: Intensive Individualized Support (IIS): IIS providers work one-on-one with the child or adolescent to implement various interventions as outlined in the treatment plan, collect data, implement behavioral interventions as outlined on their behavioral intervention plan, and communicate with the treatment team. IIS providers must possess a high school diploma and be eligible to be certified in the Kansas Medical Assistance Program Tutor (RBT credentialed): Tutors work one-on-one with the child or adolescent to implement various interventions as outlined in the treatment plan, collect data, implement behavioral interventions as outlined on their behavioral intervention plan, and communicate with the treatment team, and must have 40 hours of training in the use of applied behavior analysis and be working towards a degree upon hire. Tutors must have a current RBT credential. This position can help you gain experience with neurotypical individuals working on motor, communication, behavior and self help skills! Responsibilities and Requirements As part of their employment, employees must: Act professionally and treat clients with respect and dignity at all times. Engage in professional development activities as outlined by IBT, including attending training sessions, reading journal articles about behavior analysis, and conducting research as part of a clients treatment team. Conduct intervention and data collection as prescribed by the clients treatment plan, including monitoring and accommodating frequent program modifications, as well as accurately collecting and reporting data. Strictly follow designated protocols to foster skills and behavior generalization. Submit to occasional fidelity and competency checks conducted by consultants or lead teachers during therapy sessions. Stay apprised of the clients IBP and/or PCSP Program and demonstrate competency in all skills listed under the supervision of the Autism Specialist, Consultant, or Case Manager. Complete weekly communication reports summarizing successes or concerns with both administrative (e.g. schedule, pay) and therapy tasks (programs, behavior). Employees must also achieve at least 80% accuracy on the initial IBT training within 14 days of employment. Employees failing to achieve 80% accuracy will be placed on unpaid administrative leave until this outcome can be achieved.
