    Summary:

    This position provides administrative support to the production department, including data entry, maintenance of spreadsheets, and reporting.

    The Fine Details:

  • · Performs daily data entry of production activity.

· Creates and modifies Daily Production Reports.

· Prepares & verifies all Production Reports.

· Maintains spreadsheets and track data.

· Maintains information in production systems including SAP.

· Generates and enters PO’s.

· Releases and closes shop orders for production running.

· Creates and modifies shop orders.

· Help with Month End Closing.

· Manages all Production Office clerical functions, such as filing, faxing and copying or any other administrative duties.

· Maintains cleanliness and 5S standards within his/her own work area. Equipment and work areas must be kept organized, clean and sanitary throughout the shift. End of shift requires removal of any waste and garbage generated during the shift. Ensure proper care of equipment.

· Follows all safety procedures and participates in safety training. Maintains safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and PPE. Reports any injury, accident or unsafe condition immediately to supervisor.

· Supports product safety, quality and legality.

· Supports and complies with GMPs. Participate in EDGE initiatives.

· Follows all company policies and procedures.

· Other duties as assigned.

The Secret Ingredients:

  • 1-2 years of experience preferred.

  • Ability to read, speak and write English so as to assimilate, retain, and apply training and knowledge of job functions and recognize and communicate problems and recommended solutions.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Certified to operate a forklift and pallet jack.

  • Experience using RF devices.

  • Computer literacy in Excel, Word, MS Access and SAP or any ERP system.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Excellent math skills as well as a strong attention to detail.

  • Experience with food safety regulations strongly preferred.

  • Must be able to wear a company-provided uniform.

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

    Work Environment:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Ability to read, speak and write English so as to assimilate, retain, and apply training and knowledge of job functions and recognize and communicate problems and recommended solutions.

  • Two years clerical experience, including data entry

  • Experience using MP2 or CMMS software preferred.

  • Computer literacy including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Must be able to wear company-provided uniform.
