Prepare fields for planting. Pick rocks and operate tractors to till the soil. Operate farming equipment in order to plant, spray, fertilize, harvest and haul grain and soybean crops. Maintain and repair irrigation systems. Load and unload crops. Transport crops to storage facilities. Operate and maintain grain handling equipment. General farm duties such as servicing and cleaning equipment, facility maintenance and shop work.
Fully furnished kitchen provided. Workers will have access to grocery stores at least once per week.
The employer will provide a vehicle directly to the workers to drive themselves to and from the jobsite and housing as necessary on a day-to-day basis. There is no set schedule; generally, the workers will travel to and from the jobsite just before and after the workday. The workers will also be able to use the vehicle for personal errands and groceries at least once per week. The provided vehicle will be an pick up truck that seats 4 passengers.
