Job Description Summary

The Shop Cost Leader is responsible for minimizing cost per shop visit and reducing cost actualization pressure across the CSA and T&M

portfolio within a shop by driving cost focus throughout their assigned shop. This role will partner across operational, engineering, and

commercial functions to drive cost reduction strategies and metrics. The role will also be key in developing a cost culture within the overhaul

shop.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Actively manage, standardize rhythms & monitor Services Cost KPI’s which impact Cost, both strategically and tactically.

  • Utilize data analysis, shop engagement, root cause analysis, facilitating AWOs and leveraging expertise within the Product Line, Shop and Engineering to specifically address corrective actions, develop new productivity projects and keep the overall team aligned on key milestone timings.

  • Own and drive improvements in YoY $/SV performance on both CSA and T&M Contract Shop Visits through collaborative engagement with both the local shop team and the wider global team.

  • Promote & Improve the Shop Cost Culture Help to address any queries related to cost, cost/benefit analysis and project prioritization while actively promoting increased utilization of digital tools within the shop.

  • This role is solid line into the Services Cost Team with a very strong dotted line into the Executive Plant Manager.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Experience in Operations, Engineering or program/project management.

Desired Characteristics

  • LEAN Six Sigma experience and skillset highly desirable.

  • Experience at overhaul or repair shop.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

  • Established project management skill
