This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/12841247 Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as tarping haystacks, removing and folding tarps; Report necessary repairs and repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (some of which is equipped with GPS) such as swather, rake, baler, stacker to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as hay in large, square bales; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employers fields, load employers crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools; Maintain, clean, and pick up after own self in a manner suitable to occupants of housing; Attend to live farm animals such as cattle; Employer has the right to enter residence to inspect and establish that house is being kept in an orderly manner; Read and understand basic principals in equipment operators manuals that are provided by equipment manufactures.

Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
