Job Description:
The Operations Leadperson has active, hands-on involvement and daily presence within the facility. The position works closely with the production employees and oversees the general production training for new employees. Sets the example for culture by exemplifying ADM principles. Understands and follows company policies and procedures pertinent to the role.
Job Description
Active, hands-on involvement and daily presence within the facility, responsible for shift performance
Ensure the production schedule is followed daily
Ability to diplomatically relate to customers and others encountered while loading trucks
Work with office personnel to ensure production process is complete before shipping
Help with trouble shooting issues with batches, yields, and bagging problems
Help in production when needed
Monitor the workplace for improvements and safety concerns
Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and document all listed housekeeping duties on Sanitation records have been completed
Responsible for participating and managing record keeping, safety, quality and production related activities
Provide feedback and direct observation of operator performance
Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management
Minimum Requirements

Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively as a team member
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
3-5 years of manufacturing and/or warehousing experience, or proven proficiency
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate a forklift safely
Must have proven proficiency in most aspects of the production/warehouse facility
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a routine basis
Strong safety and math aptitude
Must have a valid driver’s license
